Barbara has steered CCBH into becoming Hong Kong’s leading boutique legal firm specialising in matrimonial and family law with passion, determination, and diligence since 1999. She chose this area of focus due to her unwavering commitment to connecting people via her legal profession. With family being an aspect of life that affects one’s overall well-being to the core, she sees that legal practitioners can assist and protect individuals and their family members as they experience life-changing personal matters in an effective, empathetic manner. Each case is of equal importance to her: she strives to provide the most strategic and fitting legal solutions for every circumstance. Barbara embraces a family attitude when interacting with her clients, colleagues, and the wider matrimonial law community. She treats her clients as family members, acting in their best interest with patience and sincerity regardless of the difficulty they are facing at hand. She has built a home-like environment for her colleagues, who in turn supports their clients with a warm, genuine approach. Last but not least, Barbara firmly believes mutual respect and trust are fundamental among fellow matrimonial and family law practitioners, as the best outcome for their clients is not always achieved at court but through productive, collaborative discussions.
Barbara maintains an active lifestyle outside of office hours as well, enjoying her time off through cycling, a good game of table tennis, and travelling. She remains close to the community of her alma mater Maryknoll Convent School.
